Swine Flu Clams 12 More Lives In Maharashtra, Toll Rises To 416

Swine Flu deaths continued unabated across Maharashtra as 12 more persons succumb to the H1N1 virus taking the toll to 416, since January this year.

The State Health Department said, 51 new patients across the state have been tested positive for H1N1 in last 24 hours taking the total number of swine flu affected cases in the state to 4,625, of these 1,786 cases are reported from Mumbai, 532 cases are from Nagpur, and 1,174 from Pune.

Meanwhile, 72 more swine flu positive patients have been treated successfully and discharged from various hospitals in the state, thus the total number of patients treated successfully till date since January this year stands at 4,002.
