Tamil Nadu Agriculture Minister Krishnamoorthy Sacked

Tamil Nadu Agriculture Minister SS Krishnamoorthy has been sacked from the cabinet.

A press release from the Raj Bhavan stated that his portfolio has been given to Minister for housing Vaithilingam.

Earlier Krishnamoorthy was removed from the party post following the suicide of an executive engineer of the Agriculture Department in Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli district.

The official had allegedly committed suicide as he was under pressure from the Minister’s office with regard to the appointments in the department.
