Taxation Structure liberalized to attract Moe Investment : Finance Minister Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said, the taxation structure has been liberalised in order to attract more investment.

In his first interview to Lok Sabha channel, after presenting the budget, Jaitley said, in the previous system, taxation was complex which discouraged foreign investors from putting money in the country.

The Finance Minister said, he had to make a balance between building infrastructure and meeting fiscal deficit target.

Mr Jaitley said, the entire financial structure between Centre and States have been redefined which will improve financial condition of the states.

The Finance Minister said, economy should grow, but he is also concerned about welfare of poor and his major priority is infrastructure.
