Telengana Govt.Forms Cabinet sub-committee to promote cashless transactions

In keeping with the Telangana government’s avowed aim to create cashless economy, the state cabinet has set up a sub-committee to explore ways to encourage cashless transactions among the people in the state.

The state Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat here this evening, decided to constitute the cabinet sub-committee headed by IT Minister K T Rama Rao.

Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali and Minister Jagdish Reddy will be the other members of the sub-committee.

Speaking after the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao suggested that even government transactions should also be cashless. He said people should be encouraged to opt for cashless transactions.
