Thousands of Divyangjan set record with International Wonder World Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, and India Book of Records by participating in Yoga events

Thousands of Divyangjan have set a record with the International Wonder World Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, and India Book of Records by participating in Yoga events. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has organised the event at Kanha Shanthi Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
About three thousand Divyangjans from 16 states under 21 categories including visual impairment, hearing impairment, locomotor disability, intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and thalassemia among others performed Yoga on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar said yoga will help bring out the abilities of Divyangjan and help them to become self-reliant.
In another event, Union Animal Husbandry, dairying, and Fisheries Parshottam Rupala participated in Sangareddy District of the state. Mr. Rupala said Yoga will help for the holistic health of individuals besides a healthy society and a healthy world.
