Three Killed in Gas Pipeline Explosion In Nalgonda District Of Telangana

At least three persons were killed and three more injured in a gas pipeline explosion in Imampet in Nalgonda district of Telangana Saturday afternoon.

Two were burnt alive on the spot while the third succumbed to injuries.

All three are Gas Authority of India Limited employees and came from Bihar for maintenance work as it is a regular practice.

The incident took place at GAIL’s IP-2 station located at Suryapet on the Pipeline from Visakhapatnam to Cherllapalli in Hyderabad.

Local police said the blast was a result of gas leak.
