Three terrorists killed, four Army personnel martyred in J&K

Pulwama, February 18:

Three terrorists were killed and four army personnel, including a major, martyred in an encounter in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The operation that began last midnight in Pinglena area ended on Monday evening.

A policeman and one civilian also lost their lives in the gunfight. A brigadier, a Lt Colonel, one major and a DIG of police are among the eight security personnel injured.

Sources said one of the killed terrorists could be the mastermind of the CRPF car bomb attack, Kamran Ghazi, a Jaish Commander. However, official sources said the identification and group affiliation of the terrorists is still being ascertained.
