TMC Suspends MLA Swapan Ghosh for Anti-Party Activities

In West Bengal, Trinamool Congress has suspended party MLA, Swapan Kanti Ghosh for anti-party activities. The party’s Secretary General Partha Chatterjee said in Kolkata today that Ghosh has embarrassed by his activities.

Earlier in the day Ghosh, who was elected in the State Assembly from Suri in Birbhum district sat on Dharna on the lobby of the house demanding immediate inquiry on the alleged financial corruption of Suri Munipality, run by the Trinamool Congress.

Ghosh alleged that he did not get any justice despite repeated complaints to Chief Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee.

The Left and Congress MLAs have also demanded an inquiry on the matter.
