Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Launhes “Give It Up” Campaign In Karnataka

Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradan Saturday formally launched the Give It Up’ movement in Karnataka.

The movement appeals to the rich people to voluntarily give up their subsidy amount given on LPG cylinders.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the money, thus surrendered, will be utlised for poor to get LPG connection.

There are people in rural as well as in urban areas who are still using firewood for cooking. It is time that rich people who can afford come forward and stop availing the subsidy given to them.
