VK Gokhale India’s Next Envoy To China, Shringla Goes To B’Desh

Vijay Keshav Gokhale was today nominated as India’s next Ambassador to China, while Harsh Vardhan Shringla appointed as the next High Commissioner Bangladesh.
Gokhale (1981 IFS batch) is currently serving as India’s envoy in Germany, and Mr Shringla(1984 IFS batch) as Ambassador to Thailand.
Both are expected to take their assignments shortly, the Ministry of External Affairs said here today.
