Wholesale Sugar Price Down

Wholesale sugar prices fell Saturday on sluggish demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Sugar Association (BSA) said.

Small and Medium grade sugar eased by Rs 18 and Rs 10 per quintal respectively, traders said. In ex-mill grade, Small and Medium grade sugar droppedby Rs 30 and Rs 20 per quintal respectively, they added.

Following sugar rates are in quintal: Small grade: Rs 2,482/2,575; Medium grade Rs 2,592/2,725 Ex-mill: Small grade Rs 2,420/2,490; Medium grade Rs 2,510/2,660
