15 Killed In Rain Related Incidents In Rajasthan

Normal life continues to remain paralysed in many districts of Rajasthan following heavy rainfall. Incessant rain in creating havoc in Nagaur, Bikaner, Jalore, Sirohi and Pali districts.

Heavy downpour was reported form Nagaur and Bikaner districts during the last 24 hours. 15 persons have lost their lives in rain related incidents. Army is assisting the administration in relief operations in Bhinmal of Jalore district.

Food packets were distributed to the flood affected people. Rail and road traffic has also been affected in Jodhour division.

Barmer-Munabao rail service has also been cancelled. Met. Department has predicted heavy rainfall in western parts of the state.

Meanwhile the flood situation in Sirohi and Jalore districts showed signs of improvement with decline in rainfall activities.
