58-Year Old IAS Officer In Maharashtra Arrested For Alleged Rape Of A Minor Girl

A 58-year-old IAS officer in Maharaqshtra has been arrested for allegedly raping and molesting four minor girls in Pune.

MH Sawant, Director General of Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research, was remanded to police custody till 30th of this month by the court.

The police arrested Sawant on Thursday. Sawant allegedly lured schoolgirls by offering money and chocolates, showed them obscene content on his computer, and sexually assaulted them.
