Will Not Welcome SC’s Decision On Selective Use Of Photographs In Govt.Ads : Assam CM

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has said that he would not welcome the decision of the Supreme Court on selective use of photographs in government advertisements.

Talking to newsmen in Guwahati Friday , Gogoi said that if one minister or MP is doing good work, what is wrong in putting their photographs. But he also maintained that the decision of the Supreme Court is supreme.

Gogoi said that the State has an impact of over 7042 crore rupees in state exchequer due to the Centre’s decision to abolish and change of funding pattern of several schemes. He said, several states are facing problems due to the new funding pattern of the Centre.
