Petrol price hiked by Rs 3.13 per litre, diesel by Rs 2.71

Petrol price has been hiked by 3 rupees and 13 paise and diesel by 2 rupees and 71 paise per litre.
The new rate will come into effect from midnight tonight. This is the second hike in a row, after two rounds of cuts prior to that.
Fuel prices were on last revised on 30th of April tracking global cues. Oil companies review global crude prices every fortnight and revise fuel prices accordingly.
