PM Modi To Launch Power Development Scheme In Varanasi Tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch ambitious Integrated Power Development Scheme in Varanasi on Sunday. More than five hundred corer rupee’s scheme is being launched from holy city on Sunday.

Prime Minster will also inaugurate a multi specialty trauma centre of Institute of Medical Sciences of Banaras Hindu University. This is the one of the biggest trauma centre in the county.

Amid strict security arrangements which have already been placed in the city the Varanasi citizens are also waiting for PM’s visit. During this short visits Prime Minister will also launch a ring road project. The multi corer Integrated power development scheme will strengthen the infrastructure of power system in the Varanasi.

Through this scheme the centre and state government agencies will implement the underground cabling work, change and enhancement of transformers in the city, and ultimately to provide twenty four hour electricity with improved infrastructure.

After launching of this scheme Prime Minister will also address public meeting. The change of conventional bulb by LED is already began in Varanasi by Union Power Minister Piyus Goyal this month only.
