Hema Undergoes Surgery, Recovering Well

A medical bulletin issued by the Forits Hospital, where actor and BJP MP Hema Malini is admitted after her car met with an accident near Dausa in Rajasthan, said she had suffered laceration in para nasal area and forehead near the right elbow.
A four-year-old girl was killed and four others injured after her car collided with an Alto car last night near Dausa on way to Jaipur .
The hospital bulletin further briefed that a surgery of debridement and repair of the lacerated wounds was done post midnight Friday .
Hema Malini is presently in the post operative intensive care unit under monitoring of the clinical experts. The hospital said her clinical parameters are running normal and she is doing fine.
The Mathura MP was on her way to Jaipur after paying obeisance at the Mehendipur Balaji temple in Karauli district, about 70 km east of Jaipur when her Mercedes rammed into an Alto at the Lalsot bypass on the highway.
The family travelling in the car was on way to Lalsot from Jaipur, according to police.The injured were initially taken to a hospital in Dausa from where they were later referred to Jaipur.
Dausa SP Anshuman Bhomia said a case was registered against the driver of Hema Malini , Mahesh Thakur at the Sadar police station in Dausa and the vehicles were seized.
Meanwhile, a large number of celebrities from Bollywood and many politicians visited the actor politician. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje also visited Ms Malini in the morning.
