NDA’s Chief Ministerial Candidate After Polls-Ananth Kumar
20 July, Patna
Putting to rest all speculations about projection of NDA’s chief ministerial candidate for the forthcoming Bihar assembly polls, BJP’s election in-charge Anant Kumar Monday said that it would be decided after securing a thumping victory at the hustings.
Mr Kumar’s assertion assumes significance in the wake of demands for projection of a chief ministerial candidate by the Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP) and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), two constituents of BJP-led NDA.
Talking to mediapersons after inaugurating regional office of NDA, Mr Kumar said all constituents of NDA were focussed on handing out a crushing defeat to JD(U)-RJD-Congress-NCP alliance.
“The issue of selecting the chief minister will be decided by the NDA after victory at the hustings”, Mr Kumar said.
