UP Bags Guinness Would Record For Mega Plantation Drive

Uttar Pradesh has bagged a Guinness record for the mega plantation drive which was held under the campaign started by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on November 7.

The target of planting 10.53 lakh saplings was achieved in less than ten hours.

Representatives of the Guinness book of world record, yesterday, presented the certificate of the record achieved to Chief Minister Yadav in between the performance of singer cum musician A R Rahman, during the celebration of Mulayam Singh Yadav’s birthday.
