Modi-Jinping Held Talks In Xi’an On Border ,Trade , Investment issues

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping Thursday held talks in Xi’an in China. The talks lasted about 90 minutes, during which the two leaders held wide ranging issues including peace and tranquility on the border, trade imbalance and investment climate.

Briefing media after the talks, Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar said the atmosphere was very comfortable and it was building up on the chemistry between the two leaders that started in September last year.
He said strengthening trust, increasing convergence, connectivity and strengthening cooperation to counter terrorism, were the other issues that were discussed.

On inter-national front, UN Security Council Reforms and India’s membership of Nuclear Suppliers Group also came up for discussions.
