AAP Govt. Moves Delhi HC Challenging MHA’s Notification

Aam Aadmi Party Government on Thursday moved Delhi High Court challenging the Centre’s notification which grants Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung Governor absolute powers in appointing bureaucrats and also challenged the appointment of Shakuntala Gamlin as acting chief secretary by the Lt.Governor.

The court is scheduled to hear the petition tomorrow, Friday.

Earlier, the Delhi Government passed a resolution against Centre’s notification through voice vote in the Assembly.
