Alka Lamba Files Complaint In DCW Against BJP MLA

Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Chandini Chowk Alka Lamba Monday lodged a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women against BJP MLA O P Sharma for using indecent language against her, AAP sources said.

Ms Lamba filed a complaint after Sharma had accused her of being a drug addict. In a statement issued here, the party said, The language used by the BJP MLA clearly shows that he has no respect either for women or for the rule of law. The party strongly condemns the indecent and threatening language used by BJP MLA OP Sharma against partys injured woman MLA.

The complaint filed by Ms Lamba came even as the Delhi Police registered a case against her for trespassing and assault.

A CCTV footage was taken out in which Ms Lamba was seen damaging the shop in North Delhis Kashmere Gate area.

Ms Lamba was seen vandalising the shop and throwing away things. Her supporters joined her later. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR under Sections 451, 427,186 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code.
