AP CM Naidu Announces Rs.25 Cr For Promotion Of Yoga

Exhorting people to make Yoga part of their lifestyle, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababau Naidu Sunday announced allocation of Rs 25 crore for its promotion in the state.

Participating in a Yoga programme held at the AI convention centre here on the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Chief Minister said a Yoga division should be made in the Health department and Rs 25 crore would be allocated for its promotion.

The Chief Minister said that that Yoga is being practiced in many countries and is a pride to India. Mr Naidu felt that Yoga was not religion but science.

Then Narendra (Swamy Vivekananda) practiced yoga and spread the concept and now Narendra ( Prime Minister Narendra Modi) is spreading Yoga all over the world he said.

The Chief Minister administered pledge to the people to take up Yoga. Later he released a book titled Vijeta Chandrababu
