AP Govt. Constitutes SIT To Probe Cases Against Telangana CM

The probe cases registered against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Andhra Pradesh government today constituted a four-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sheikh Mohammed Iqbal.

The decision to constitute the SIT was taken by the state cabinet held here Wednesday.

SIT will probe 88 cases registered at various police station in Andhra Pradesh against KCR including a phone-tapping case.

Taking to reporters after the lengthy cabinet meet, Labour Minister K Atchan Naidu said there was strong proof that the Telangana government resorted to tapping of phones of AP CM, his cabinet colleagues and all the evidences will be presented on right time.
