Ashes 2015, 3rd Test: England Defeat Australia By Eight Wickets

In the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham, Friday , England defeated Australia by eight wickets. Resuming at their overnight 168 for 7 on the third day today, Australia were all out for 265 in their second innings.

The hosts who had first innings lead of 145 runs, required 121 runs for a win. England easily scored the runs by making 124 for 2, in their second innings, to take a Two-One lead in the five-Test series.

England won the first Test at Cardiff by 169 runs, while Australia emerged winners in the second Test by 405 runs.
