Assam Chief Minister Gogoi To Contest 2016 Assembly Polls

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi Wednesday said that he would contest the assembly election to be held in next year.
Talking to newsmen in Guwahati today, Gogoi said that Congress will contest the poll without any alliance.

Referring the NDA government’s first year in the office, Gogoi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made U-turn from his poll promises.
Gogoi pointed out that, though Modi announced 1 billion credit line to Mongolia but has not provided flood and other central assistance to Assam yet.
