Attitude of Congress In Parliament would Boomerang : Venkaiah Naidu
12 May, New Delhi
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu Tuesday cautioned that the attitude adopted by opposition Congress to disrupt the proceedings of Parliament will boomerang on it.
The Congress is raising the issue of the CAG report related to alleged irregularities in obtaining loan by Purti group of which Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari was once a promoter.
Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Naidu said Congress is trying to divert people’s attention by moving adjournment motion on the issue.
He wondered why opposition is interested in discussing only on Purti Group and why not on the scams that had taken place during its rule. He also appealed to Congress not to create a road block in functioning of Parliament.
