Audio Tape Row : Former AAP MLA Rajesh Garg Slaps Legal Notice On Kumar Viswas

Former Aam Aadmi Party, legislator Rajesh Garg has served a legal notice to AAP leader Kumar Vishwas for calling him black-mailer and an opportunist person.

The notice states that Vishwas’ remarks against Garg have tarnished his image.

Garg has asked Vishwas to tender unqualified and unconditional apology within 15 days from the receipt of the legal notice. He said, that if Vishwas fails to tender apology, he will initiate suit for damages and file a criminal case.

Vishwas had alleged that Garg was trying to blackmail him in return for a party ticket in the Delhi Assembly election.

Garg, who accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of trying to poach six Congress MLAs to form government last year, had recorded the telephonic conversations. After the controversy broke out over the clip, Garg feigned ignorance on how it went public saying he had e-mailed it to Kumar Vishwas.

In a tweet message, Vishwas said that Garg was trying to exchange a Vidhan Sabha ticket with this audio. Garg, who represented the party from Rohini, was denied nomination in recent Assembly polls in Delhi.
