Bangladesh Defeat Pakistan by 7 Wickets In Lone T-20 Match

Bangladesh continued its dominance on touring Pakistan in the limited over format of cricket, as the hosts registered 7-wicket victory in the lone Twenty-20 match played at Dhaka Friday night.

Batting first, Pakistan was restricted to 141 for five in 20 overs due to tight bowling from the hosts.

Debutant seamer Mustafizur Rahman took two for 20 in four overs. Bangladesh overhauled the target in 17th over. Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman put on 105 runs for the fourth wicket after Bangladesh appeared to be in a spot of bother at 38 for three in the sixth over.

Shakib hit an unbeaten 57 while Sabbir made 51 not out to build on their team’s 3-Nil whitewash of Pakistan in the one-day series. The two teams will play a two-Test match series from Tuesday.
