Bihar Polls Results: Shah Meets Party Leaders, BJP PB To Meet Tomorrow

BJP President Amit Shah today met party leaders to analyse NDA’s poor show in Bihar Assembly polls.
Union Ministers J P Nadda and Dharmendra Pradhan reached Mr Shah’s residence and held discussions, sources said.
The BJP parliamentary board will meet tomorrow to discuss Bihar Assembly election results.
Congratulating Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on their victory in the Bihar assembly polls, Shah said his party respects the mandate given by the people of the state.
”I congratulate Nitish Kumar and Mr Lalu Prasad on their victory in the Bihar assembly polls,” Amit Shah said on micro-blogging site Twitter.
He said his party respected the mandate given by people of the state.”We respect the mandate given by the people of Bihar. My congratulations to the new government and I wish they take Bihar forward on the path of development,” Shah said.
The Grand Alliance of Nitish Kumars Janata Dal (United), Lalu Prasads Rashtriya Janata Dal and Sonia-Rahul Gandhis Congress, is poised for a two-thirds majority in the 243-member assembly, having established comfortable leads in 173 seats even as counting is in the final stages.
