: Bihar power struggle : Manjhi and Nitish anxiously waiting verdict of Governor

Both Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and the newly-elected leader of JD(U) legislature party Nitish Kumar are anxiously waiting for the verdict of the Governor over the present political crisis in the state.
On Monday, both the rival leaders had called on the Governor Keshari Nath Tripathy on the present political situation and conveyed their stand.

Meanwhile ,Governor Keshri Nath Tripathi is now in Delhi to attend a meeting.

Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has convened a Cabinet meeting this afternoon.

Manjhi has reiterated that he is still the Constitutionally-elected Chief Minister and the test of strength can only be undertaken on the Floor of the House.

Senior JD (U) leader K C Tyagi said that he has sought an appointment with the President tomorrow and all the legislators supporting the candidature of Nitish Kumar would be paraded.

JD (U) has threatened to take the matter to the President, if the Governor does not do justice to them.

Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar had called on the Governor on Monday to convey their stand.
