BJP Enrolls 3 Million Muslims BY Missed Call

Enrolling of 3 million Muslims through missed calls by the Bharatiya Janata Party in the country has created a sort of record, party leaders claimed today here.

The highest enrollment was in Madhya Pradesh of around four lakhs while in Uttar Pradesh it was around 1.
75 lakhs.

Communal riots-hit Muzaffarnagar also enrolled around 15,000 Muslims in the party fold.

The details were revealed by BJP’s minority cell president Abdul Rashid Ansari here as the actual position would be known after these new members were contacted and they would fill up the party forms.

He said the target to increase the participation of Muslims from 3 per cent to 10 per cent has been achieved.
According to the details, Gujarat has enrolled 2.

6 lakhs Muslims, followed by 2.
5 lakhs in Delhi, 2.
25 lakh in Karnataka, 2.
3 lakhs in West Bengal and 2 lakh each in Rajasthan and Assam.

UP BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said this time the party went all out to enroll the people from all communities and under this programme, Muslims too joined the party in a big number.

“BJP is a party of all communities and we don’t differentiate on the lines of caste or community,” he said, adding that joining of such large number of Muslims in the party fold proves the growing popularity,” he claimed
