BJP Lodges FIR Against BJD Leader For Setting Fire To Party Flag

Hundreds of BJP party workers today gathered in the town police station and lodged an FIR against BJD leaders and demanded arrest of Siddhartha Das for burning the BJP flag and the photograph of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
On Thursday BJD workers led by Das burnt the photograph of Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing him of having close link with the prime accused in Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
They also torched the BJP flag. A day after, the irate BJP workers lodged FIR in the town police station demanding the arrest of Das and all other involved in the incident.
The FIR stated that the activity of the ruling party workers is totally unconstitutional, The BJD workers and leaders have no right to burn the party flag.
When contacted BJD senior leader Siddharth Das, said they had no intention to burn the party flag. We were burning the photo of Pradhan. But burning of the flag was an accident, he remarked.
