BJP Says Bilateral Talks With Pak To Proceed On Lines Of Ufa joint Statement
13 July, New Delhi
BJP Monday downplayed Pakistan Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz’s remarks that no dialogue with India will take place without including Kashmir issue.
Party spokesperson G V L Narasimha told media in New Delhi that such statements are intended for domestic audience and bilateral talks will proceed on the lines of Ufa joint statement of the two countries.
He said the statement talked about the engagement of officials of both sides at different levels and asserted that it will guide talks between India and Pakistan.
Earlier in the day, Aziz had said that Pakistan needs more evidence and information from India on the Mumbai terror attack case.
