BJP To Lodge Protest With J&K CM Sayeed For Taking Unilateral Decision To Release Masarat

BJP, the coalition partner in Mufti Mohammed Sayeed led government in Jammu and Kashmir today criticized the controversial decision to release hardliner separatist leader Masarat Alam.

The state unit of BJP Sunday held a meeting in Jammu under the chairmanship of state In-charge, Party’s state affairs Avinash Roy Khanna and BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma and attended by legislators of the party.
According to party sources it was decided in the meeting that the party would lodge its protest with the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on the issue.
It was also resolved in the meeting that the party would not allow any such unilateral move which would be outside the ambiance of Common minimum programme of the BJP- PDP coalition.
