CBI Produces Accused Paresh In Mumbai Court in Connection with Corporate Espionage Case

Central Bureau of Investigation, on Saturday produced Paresh Chimanlal Buddhadev, a partner in Chitale and Associates in a Mumbai court in connection with the corporate espionage case.
CBI sources said, the court has also granted transit remand for bringing the accused to Delhi.
The investigating agency also produced Ram Niwas, an assistant in the Finance Ministry in the Court and he has been sent to CBI custody for 5 days.
CBI had yesterday arrested both accused for allegedly leaking documents on government’s foreign investment policies.
The investigation has also revealed the alleged role of a representative of Pricewaterhouse Cooper company in obtaining information from the Department of Economic Affairs which is being probed.
