Center To Set Up International Solar policy , Applications Agency : Piyush Goyal

Government will establish International Solar Policy and Applications Agency which will be a coalition of Solar resource rich countries for the development of Solar Energy and Solar technology applications.
Inaugurating the New Solar Passive Building of the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) situated in Gurgaon, Haryana.

Minister of State for Power and Coal Piyush Goyal said, the agency will help in addressing special energy needs of the country and reduce reliance on fossil fuels in the long run.
The Minister also announced preparation of establishing World Renewable Museum in the NISE campus.
