Congress, AAP Protest Against Smriti Irani Over Degree Row

Mounting pressure on the government, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party Thursday protested in New Delhi demanding resignation of Human Resources Development Minister Smriti Irani over furnishing of false information about her educational qualification to Election Commission.

Both the parties said Ms Irani should be immediately removed from the Union Cabinet so that a free and fair probe can be conducted.

Aam Aadmi Party said when Delhi Former Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar has resigned over the fake degree case why Ms. Irani should not be sacked.
