Congress To Send a Spokesperson During PM’s Visits Abroad : Anand Sharma

Congress Friday said that party will send a senior leader or a spokesman when the Prime Minister visits abroad in future.

Speaking to media, senior Congress leader Anand Sharma took strong exception to the comments being made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his trips abroad.

The Congress party described him as delusional and accused him of insulting the Indian nation. Mr Sharma said Congress spokesman will travel to the same country where the Prime minister is, in the same city which he visits.

He said Congress has respected convention and tradition by not speaking when the PM travels abroad but in future that shall not be the case.

Mr Sharma said, it has become characteristic of him to malign the previous government and to portray India in a bad light, giving an impression that before he took over, this was a country of corrupt people and it was a country of non achievers.
