Crane Collapse At Mecca, All 134 Haj Pilgrims From TN Safe : Prince

Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Alitoday said all the 134 Haj pilgrims from Tamil Nadu, who were on a pilgrimage to Mecca, were safe.

In a statement here, he said all the 134 pilgrims from the State were safe and were accommodated at the Arcot Wakf Building in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

”All the pilgrims are at present staying in the holy city for the annual Haj pilgrimage later this month”, he added.

The Prince expressed his shock and grief over the tragic accident, which killed more than 100 people and injured many more in the crane crash in the Grand Mosque at Mecca. He described those who died in this accident as Martyrs in the eyes of the Almighty God.

He condoled the untimely deaths and prayed for their souls to rest in peace. ”May the Lord grant strength to the relatives to bear the irreparable loss of their loved ones”, the Prince said and wished all the injured a speedy recovery.
