Delhi Police Files Case Against Parliament Member Asaduddin Owaisi For Alleged Hate Speech

Delhi Police has registered an FIR against All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimin leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi for his alleged hate speech.

The FIR was registered Friday after a local court directed the Delhi Police to lodge a criminal case against Owaisi under relevant provisions of the IPC on a private complaint.

The court had passed the order on the complaint of a social worker seeking lodging of an FIR against Owaisi for his alleged hate speech in June last year.

The complainant said that he had read an article in the online edition of a newspaper in which Owaisi had allegedly delivered a speech against Prime Minister Narendra Mod
