Dengue:Menace Continues Unabated In Delhi, As Toll Reaches 10.

The menace of Dengue continues unabated in Delhi, with the death toll rising to 10 Tuesday, following the death of a seven-year-old boy Aman at the Holy Family hospital here.

Though the official figures of the Municipal Corporations of Delhi put the number of deaths at five, unofficial figures put the death toll at 10. Aman succumbed to dengue after making rounds of several hospitals including Safdarjung, Jeevan hospital and Moolchand.

According to the weekly report on Dengue issued by the MCD yesterday, altogether 1,872 cases of dengue have been reported so far in Delhi and NCR areas, of which 1,714 were from the National Capital alone. The next weekly report will be released on Monday.
