DRI Sleuths Seize 17.5 Kg Gold From A Passenger At Calicut Airport

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence sleuths in Kerala seized 17 and a half kilogram of gold from the baggage of a passenger, who arrived at the Calicut International Airport from Dubai, a week ago.

The contraband is worth over five crore rupees.

Two persons have been taken into custody in this connection, when they came to claim the baggage.

The gold was found kept concealed in some household equipment.
