Fodder Scam : Bihar Ex-CM Jagannath Mishra Surrenders , Sent To Jail

Former Bihar Chief Minister and a convict in the multi crore fodder scam Jagannath Mishra was sent to Birsa Munda central jail in Ranchi Thursday after he surrendered before the special CBI court on direction of Jharkhand high court.

Mishra was, however, shifted to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences for better medical care as he has been suffering with multiple ailments.

The direction for proper treatment and medical care was given to the jail authorities by the court in its order.

Mishra has been out on provisional bail within three weeks of conviction in October 2013, in a case of fodder scam, which is considered mother of all fodder scam related conspiracy cases.
