ED Attaches YSR Chief Jaganmohan Reddy’s properties worth over Rs.232 crore

The Enforcement Directorate has attached properties worth over 232 crore rupees in connection with a case against YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

The regional office of the ED has issued orders attaching both movable and immovable properties relating to various companies including India Cements, Janani Infrastructures, Bharati Cements and Indira Television limited. Most of the companies are owned by Jaganmohan reddy’s family members.

The ED in a release said it was found during investigations that money was laundered by way of investments for undue favours against personal gains and bribes were paid to YS Jagnamohan Reddy during his father, Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s tenure as the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Jaganmohan Reddy is now the Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
