Govt. To Probe Publication Of Map In RSS Mouth Piece Showing Parts Of J&K As Part Of Pakistan : Ravi Shankar Prasad

The Government will probe the publication of a map in the RSS mouthpiece, Organizer, showing some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, as a part of Pakistan.

Communication Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in the Rajya Sabha Friday that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and will remain so.

He said that the Parliament has also adopted a resolution in this regard. The Minister said that the map depicted in the magazine does not endorse the views of either the BJP, or the RSS.

However, he assured the House that the government will probe the matter. As soon as the House met for the day, Ghulam Nabi Azad of the Congress raised the issue. He said Jammu and Kashmir is the crown of the country.

He said security forces and people have made sacrifices for the state. Satyavrat Chaturvedi and Rajiv Shukla of Congress wanted to know what action the government will take in this regard.
