Haryana Govt. Releases Second Part Of White Paper On State Economy

Haryana Government on Saturday released the second part of white paper on state economy ahead of budget session starting on March 9. The first part of White paper was released on March 2.
Releasing the white paper, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Finance Minister Captain Abhimanyu explained the economic condition of state level public sector undertakings, cooperative institutions and local body institutions and said that government will take every step to make all these loss making institutions and undertakings economically strong.
The Chief Minister said that the previous government gave attention to few sectors ignoring other sectors like infrastructural development and labour welfare sectors. He said that congress government led by Bhupender Singh Hooda preferred lop side development favouring few districts at the cost of others.
He said that the data in white paper shows that in Jhajjar, Rohtak and Sonipat, much more amount than the income from Haryana Rural Development Fund (HRDF), was spent, while in districts of Sirsa, Kaithal, Kurukshetra and Karnal, where income from HRDF was much more, less amount was spent.
The Chief Minister also lamented that Opposition, instead of giving any suggestion to bring back the economy of the state on track, was making baseless criticism of the white paper. He said that no body has given reaction on the facts given in the first part of the paper.
