‘I have not been given mandate to react to all and sundry “, this is how Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar dismissed RJD strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin’s barb against him yesterday.

Breaking his silence Kumar in his indomitable style said “he never gave attention to such matters which have no significance” .

Everybody was aware of as to why the people of Bihar had given him mandate afresh and he would work for respecting the people`s mandate instead of listening to somebody’s remark against him.

He also advised mediapersons not to waste their time and spaces in newspapers by blowing up the matter out of proportion.

Shahabuddin after walking out from Bhagalpur Central Jail yesterday had described Mr Kumar as a Chief Minister of circumstance with no mass.
