ICC World Cup : New Zealand register 3 Wicket Victory Over Bangladesh.

New Zealand register three wicket thrilling victory over Bangladesh in the Pool A match in ICC World Cup at Hamilton Friday.
Chasing the 289 set by Bangladesh , News Zealand achieved the target at 48.5 overs . Today Brendon Mc Culllum failed the team and got out scoring 8 runs ., Martin Guptil who batted steady helped the team to towards victory. However Anderson s exist at 39 had set up close finish with Vittori and Tim Southy’s in their fiery batting took the match in their favour.

For New Zealand, Martin Guptil was the highest scorer with 105 off 100 balls . But He got out by Shakib Al Hassan . Ross Taylor was out with 56 while Grant Elliot scored 39 runs.

Though Bangladesh Bowlers had all the effort to restrict New Zealand , their poor fielding coupled with catch drop failed them to score a victory to go upward in the point table.

For Bangladesh Shakib Al Hassan was successful bowler taking highest four wickets. Nasir Hossain took two wickets.
Invited to bat first , Bangladesh made a modest 288 runs losing seven wickets in the stipulated 50 overs against New Zealand . The highlight of Bangladesh innings was Mahmudullah’s not out 128 off 123 balls .

After losing the toss Bangladesh was asked to bat first and lose early 3 wickets within 30 overs . However after losing wicket of Soumya sarkar at 51 , Mahmudullah carried the innings with his steady and stylish batting to help the team to reach 287. Sabir Rahaman also made 40 runs.

For New Zealand Trent Boult, Corey Anderson and Grant Elliott took two wickets each while Daniel Vettori bagged lone wicket of Sarkar.
