India – Mongolia Sign Several Key Agreements

India and Mongolia have signed several agreements to further boost bilateral ties. Both sides have agreed to expand their cooperation in the fields of renewable energy, information and technology, education, healthcare and cyber security.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held delegation level talks with his Mongolian counterpart Saikhanbileg today.

Modi was accorded ceremonial welcome at Changage Khan square this morning. Prime Minister also visited Gandan Monastery where he gifted a sapling of Maha Bodhi tree to its head Hamba Lama. Mr. Modi arrived in Ulaan Baator last night, in the second leg of his three-nation visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded ceremonial welcome by his Mongolian counterpart in the capital Ulaan Baator.
